Steeped in history and community spirit, The Historic Firehouse at 102 East Pier Street has been a beloved fixture of Port Washington, WI, since 1929.
Instantly recognizable by its beautiful Mediterranean Revival architecture and warm Spanish tile roof, this storied building has worn many hats over the decades.
It first served proudly as the city’s Fire Department headquarters, before evolving to welcome neighbors as a lively Senior Center, a charming Art and Antiques Shop, and the vibrant Blue Heron Event Hall. Every corner of this historic gem is filled with decades of shared memories.
Fast forward to 2019, when a dream team stepped in to spark a brilliant new era for 102 East Pier Street. Lake Financial Group partners Brian Barber and Justin Behm purchased the historic building and took on the adventure of a lifetime: restoring it from top to bottom.
They cleverly split the space to offer the best of both worlds. While Brian and Justin handle the serious stuff upstairs at their Financial Services headquarters, their wives, Andi Barber and Julia Behm, bring the magic to life downstairs as the powerhouse duo behind Engine Room 102 Event Hall.
